A Great Bend tradition is the “Chamber Coffee” every Thursday morning. The host invites all the businessmen in town to come to his or her place of business for coffee and doughnuts, thus giving the host an opportunity to show his guests what's new. On March 22, the Barton Arts Council hosted the coffee at the Arts Center as a way of heightening community awareness of the event.
Event co-chair, Karen Guliford, explains the Micheaux Festival.
The coffee was well attended.
The Convention & Visitors' Bureau presented Marty with a plaque.
Door prizes included tickets to “the Other Oscars”.
