Your Micheaux Festival experience should include some “visiting time” as well as the formal presentations. Rather than disperse for a long lunch break, we hope that those attending the festival will have lunch … and conversations … together at the Great Bend Elks Club.

The Elks Club is a popular place for lunch on weekdays in downtown Great Bend. On weekends, they're normally closed. We've arranged for them to be open on the Saturday of our festival. The meal will be served from a buffet line (all you can eat) thus allowing maximum speed in serving and maximum time for visiting. The price will be $9.00 per person. Here's what you'll get:

  • roast beef
  • fried chicken
  • mashed potatoes
  • cream gravy
  • seasoned green beans
  • full salad bar
  • cake for dessert

The Elks Club is just one block south of The Crest, so it is within very easy walking distance of the main festival venue.
