Welcome by Marty Keenan and George Martin
Carmaletta Williams is an associate professor of English at Johnson County Community College. Her presentation was about black poet, Langston Hughes , from Lawrence, Kansas.

Dr. Clifford E. Watkins is a professor at North Carolina A & T State University. He has written a biography of Perry G. Lowery .
Lunch break
Angela Logan of Teaneck, NJ is producing a documentary on the life of Lorenzo Fuller . Fuller also attended and performed for the audience.
Two films were shown:
one about Oscar Micheaux: Midnight Ramble
one by Oscar Micheaux: Within Our Gates
Then it was supper at the Barton Arts Center
Following the supper break, Marty introduced Kevin Willmott and Kevin introduced his latest movie, Bunker Hill .
This was the first screening of Bunker Hill . After the movie, there was a panel discussion about the new movie.
